I just came across a tumblr whose name shocked me so much that I had hoped they were just guilty of a poor sense of humor.

Unfortunately, their blog is filled with anti-semitic content ranging from swastikas, pictures of Hitler, and to little blonde girls doing the Nazi salute. I have reported this blog to tumblr.

Growing in the northern New Jersey surrounded by many Jews, I have fortunately witnessed very few cases of Anti-Semitism. I know it is out there, I see it on the news, but to actually see a tumblr filled with such hate for Jews surprised me. I guess I viewed tumblr as a fun place to obsess about Rose and the Doctor, Sherlock Holmes and John Watson, Barney and Robin, etc., not as a website that treats such hate with normality. Hopefully this blog gets taken down soon, but in the mean time please remember the power of the internet. Hateful messages can spread so quickly and can unfortunately influence other’s beliefs.

I know I don’t have a lot of followers and I bet fewer of them will read this, but I just wanted to say thank you to all those tumblrs who keep this website fun and hate free.
